SiD's Winter Reading Series
Before kicking off our exciting summer season in 2018, Shakespeare in Detroit plans to host a few pop-up performance events at local destinations for our patrons.
January 14th
February 11th
Start the new year off by joining us at the Detroit Opera Houses's Black Box Theatre. Our company members will be performing The Winter's Tale, often called both a comedy and a romance.

This will be our final reading for SiD's Winter Reading Series and we want to celebrate -- it is the weekend before Valentine's Day, after all!

Come enjoy breakfast pastries, fruit, a little V-Day chocolate and WHISKEY. You'll get a shot for the first half in honor of Valentine and a shot for Proteus during the second half. We'll also have coffee available for the whiskey brunch. We've got you covered!

There's even a couple of fun giveaways during the event. You'll be instantly entered to win when you purchase a ticket.

December 9th
The first stage reading will be Othello by William Shakespeare at The Jam Handy on December 9, 2017.
​
Othello was SiD's inaugural performance and we are excited for many of our original actors to bring one of the Bard's most popular tragedies back for our audiences.

Join us around the fireplace with your family and friends to enjoy the holiday classic, A Christmas Carol, and complimentary cookies and milk!
